Abstract: The pharmaceutical industry is constantly being challenged to meet the rising standards of quality and to comply with rigorous regulatory requirements. Traditionally, homegrown systems, stand-alone applications or even manual paperbased systems have been used to manage quality at departmental level. Such point solutions fail to address systemic quality problems because they lack a broad enterprise reach.
