The GRC Practice Leader Award category recognizes individuals who are passionate about and responsible for driving the implementation and adoption of GRC programs across the organization. Backed by a deep expertise in GRC, practice leaders understand the organization’s GRC vision, and lead its implementation. Moreover, they are always willing to share best practices with the industry, and to collaborate with teams to find solutions to common GRC challenges.

Mr. Roels won the GRC Practice Leader Award for leading Janssen Research & Development towards stronger quality control audits. He is a highly skilled quality assurance professional with extensive experience in auditing and regulatory agency inspections. Under his guidance, Janssen Research & Development implemented an integrated solution to simplify, streamline, and automate quality audit management. Mr. Roels was hands-on from start to finish - from helping to define the requirements for the solution, to actively participating in user acceptance testing and go-live. He also successfully led the initiative to train end users across the Janssen global R&D operations.

“Thank you to MetricStream for this award,” said Mr. Roels. He continued, “Establishing an integrated approach to quality control audits across Janssen Research & Development has been an immensely rewarding experience.
