Reporting and Dashboards
MetricStream Enterprise Compliance Platform has a built-in reporting engine for powerful reports and executive dashboards that provide data analytics and business intelligence in real-time. The unique drill-down capability allows users to click on a report or dashboard and easily access the underlying data at the finest level of detail.
Reports Wizard
In addition to the standard reports available out-of-the-box in MetricStream solutions, end-users can build custom reports using the simple Reports Wizard without any programming. The Reports Wizard takes the user through a series of steps to select the data set for the report and to define properties such as report columns, formatting, sorting and grouping, filtering, and coloring conditions to create the new report that can be saved and shared with other users.
Security
MetricStream Platform supports 21 CFR Part 11 compliance for electronic records and signatures. All applications can have configurable rules for passwords, password complexity, password expiry, as well as authentication and signoffs at major transactional steps in business process workflows. The Platform provides a robust security infrastructure by supporting the current standard and best practices including authentication and authorization, 128-bit data encryption algorithms such as MD5, SSL and HTTPS support, support for LDAP-based authentication models, as well as support for single sign-on technologies.
Application Briefcase
MetricStream Platform provides a unique offline capability that allows users to perform their tasks at remote field sites without access to the corporate network. Key functionalities such as conducting audits and reviewing CAPAs can be made available on notebook computers and handheld devices even when they are offline and cannot access the network. The data can be recorded in exactly that same manner as when the application is online and synchronized with the central repository when the network is accessible.
Access Controls
MetricStream Platform supports multi-level role-based access controls with support for hierarchy-based organizational models and org-role pairings. Such role-based access to functionality and data is essential for companies with multiple locations, product lines, and business units. Any document or record is made available only to those users who have appropriate privileges based on their roles and profiles.
Zaplets
MetricStream's patented Zaplet technology enables email-based delivery of application data and forms. Users can receive Zaplets in their email with information that is current when read versus current when sent. Users can also reply to the email by entering relevant data and responses within the email. The application processes the information in the email form in the same way as if the user had entered it in the online application.
