A Monitoring and Troubleshooting Application provides system alerts, activity reports, traceable logs, and monitoring tools for easy system administration. The IUP (Install Upgrade Patch) tool simplifies the transition from the staging to production during updates and upgrades. Upgrades of Platform do not affect the application resource files and application metadata and preserve all customer configurations and setting.
Extensibility
MetricStream Infolet and API framework enable quick integration with standard third-party tools and utilities to extend MetricStream solutions to provide highly specialized functionality. For instance, MetricStream provides automated generation of reports in standard file formats such as MS Word, MS Excel, and Adobe PDF in configurable layouts.

Each screen is designed to show the information that the user needs at that particular step with links to related records and data. Alerts and Notifications
MetricStream Platform extensively utilizes email as a mechanism for delivering event-based notifications, alerts, and escalations. The system-generated emails include a link that brings the user directly to the application form that the user needs to work on. Flexible rules for escalations and notifications can be configured using a combination of thresholds such as negative trends, due dates, time limits, etc.
