Enterprise IT Architecture
Enterprise architects work with stakeholders, both leadership and subject matter experts, to build a holistic view of the organization's strategy, processes, information, and information technology assets. The role of the enterprise architect is to take this knowledge and ensure that the business and IT functions are aligned. A sound sense of business and technical strategy is required to envision the "right" architectural approach, given the business objectives of the organization. By embedding proper GRC check points within the organization's IT infrastructure, architects can reduce the organizations exposure to a wide array of risks, threats and vulnerabilities that have a direct impact on the performance of the enterprise.
