About our Featured Speaker:
Dick Pocock is vice president of Quality and Customer Advocacy at NetApp. Pocock is responsible for defining and executing the NetApp Quality agenda, working on behalf of customers to achieve the best possible product and service quality for each deployment. He also leads the development of strong relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers.
Pocock joined NetApp in early 2006 from Honeywell Aerospace, where he led the product, services, and customer quality functions. As a quality assurance executive, Pocock had previously worked at aerospace companies such as Allied-Signal and Textron and has also served as a Colonel in the U.S. Army. He was a board member and ultimately Chairman of the Board for the Performance Review Institute for seven years and is currently a member of the American Society for Quality and an ASQ certified quality manager
Pocock holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Illinois, a Master of Physics degree from Penn State University, a Master of International Relations from Salve Regina University, and a Master of Systems Management degree from the University of Southern California.
