September 30, 2015 | Palo Alto, California: MetricStream, a leading provider of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Apps and Solutions has been recognized with two 2015 GRC Innovation Awards in the category “Technology Innovation for Enterprise GRC” presented by GRC analyst firm GRC 20/20 Research. MetricStream was recognized for their innovations in Mobile Middleware Architecture for Enterprise GRC, as well their Quality Management App.

There were a total of 119 nominations across 17 categories of GRC functional areas. For each category, solution providers were evaluated from two perspectives – Innovation and User Interface & Experience.

“MetricStream was recognized for their bold innovations in quality audit technology and GRC mobile apps,” said Michael Rasmussen, Chief GRC Pundit for GRC 20/20 and internationally recognized expert. He continued, “MetricStream’s M2 Middleware Architecture is making it possible to rapidly develop and deploy a range of GRC mobile Apps that, in turn, enhance the agility and responsiveness of GRC programs. Through their Quality Management Solution, MetricStream arms customers with the risk intelligence they need to define effective quality audit strategies.”

As a technology and market leader in the GRC space, MetricStream has been among the first to respond to the market demand for multi-device and multi-platform GRC Apps. Mobile Middleware (M2) is MetricStream’s proprietary workbench to provide a communication channel between mobile apps and the MetricStream system. MetricStream has created and deployed M2 as the enabling layer over the MetricStream GRC Platform to provide users with GRC features and functionalities on tablets and smart phones across mobile operating systems.

The MetricStream Quality Management App enables highly targeted, risk-based quality audits through powerful risk analysis tools and an audit advisor. It also streamlines the quality audit lifecycle and provides real-time data visibility to help users identify and resolve potential quality issues in a timely manner, and thereby avoid compliance violations and costly product recalls.

“We are delighted to have won in two categories at the 2015 GRC Innovation Awards,” said Gaurav Kapoor, Chief Operating Officer at MetricStream. He continued, “Today’s global, digital, and mobile enterprises are facing increasingly complex risks and compliance challenges that require innovative solutions. At MetricStream, we’re continuously pushing the boundaries of innovation through our MetricStream Labs and customer communities where we are developing next generation GRC capabilities. Our highly scalable, cloud-based, and mobile Apps and Solutions are streamlining, simplifying, and strengthening the GRC programs that power leading organizations around the world.”
