The MetricStream GRC Journey Awards celebrate and recognize individuals, customers, and partners who are leading their organization’s GRC Journey, championing GRC programs, and achieving superior business performance through GRC. A total of ten awards were presented in four categories – GRC Journey Awards, GRC Visionary Awards, GRC Practice Leader Awards, and GRC Partner Awards. Presenting the awards were MetricStream Executive Chairman, Gunjan Sinha, and Chief Operating Officer, Gaurav Kapoor.

The GRC Practice Leader Award category recognizes individuals who are passionate about and responsible for driving the implementation and adoption of GRC programs across the organization. Backed by a deep expertise in GRC, practice leaders understand the organization’s GRC vision, and lead its implementation. Moreover, they are always willing to share best practices with the industry, and to collaborate with teams to find solutions to common GRC challenges.

Mr. Sprich won the GRC Practice Leader Award for ensuring the successful implementation of a supplier quality management technology solution at BP. Mr. Sprich took on the role of a “super-user” or an “expert-user” of the system, which required many hours of learning, understanding, and testing. His leadership, vision, involvement, and above everything, his drive, made all the difference to the success of the implementation. As a seasoned expert in third-party management, Mr. Sprich brought to the table a deep understanding not only of BP’s overall supplier life cycle, but also of the supplier quality management process.

“I’m honored to have won the MetricStream GRC Practice Leader Award,” said Mr. Sprich. He continued, “This achievement would not have been possible without my team at BP and key stakeholders from MetricStream who worked tirelessly to ensure a successful implementation. Today, our efforts have paid off, as the new supplier quality management system at BP is transforming the way we assess, manage, and monitor quality across our supply chain.”

“Mr. Sprich is a hands-on leader,” said Gunjan Sinha, Executive Chairman at MetricStream. He continued, “Not only did he take the time to understand the nuances of the end user’s processes - which, in turn, helped him manage the user acceptance testing effectively - but he also suggested some great enhancements to the solution. The implementation was smooth and successful because of his leadership, and we are delighted to recognize him with this award.”
