Mr. Sinha will join the event’s stellar line-up of keynote speakers, which include Secretary William S. Cohen, 20th U.S. Secretary of Defense, CEO of The Cohen Group, and Board Director at CBS Corporation, along with Bernard J. Tyson, Chairman and CEO of Kaiser Permanente, and Yvonne Cagle, NASA Astronaut.

The GRC Summit on the theme “Towards Pervasive Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)”, is packed with interactive panel discussions, analyst presentations, GRC workshops, Special Interest Group (SIGs) meetings, and case study presentations.

During his keynote address, Mr. Sinha will discuss the role of entrepreneurship, risk-taking, and innovation as key components for an organizations growth and success. According to Mr. Sinha, a start-up is a state of mind, not a measure of size or impact. From that perspective, Mr. Sinha will share how MetricStream is becoming the largest start-up in the world. In his keynote address, Mr. Sinha will also talk about MetricStream “customer heroes” - those individuals who are catalysts for GRC transformations within their organization, and trail-blazers for good governance, risk aware cultures, and compliance.

As part of his keynote, Mr. Sinha will also highlight key industry trends such as GRC mobility, big data, social media risk management, GRC in the cloud, and extended enterprise governance - all of which can be managed effectively by adopting a pervasive GRC framework, driving co-innovation, and executing against a well-planned GRC journey.

As Executive Chairman of MetricStream, Mr. Sinha leads the company’s overall strategy and execution. He has spent over 20 years in various entrepreneurial, board, and executive positions building innovative businesses. He was the Co-Founder and President of WhoWhere? Inc., a leading Internet directory services company (acquired by Lycos in 1998) and eGain, an online customer service company which he built from inception to post NASDAQ IPO.

Mr. Sinha currently serves on the Board of Directors of several Silicon Valley companies. In 2010, he was appointed to the Board of the US-India Science and Technology Research Endowment Fund by the US State Department to promote entrepreneurship and innovation. He also serves as the Chairman of CFHI.org which brings transformative health care education to under-served communities around the world.

Mr. Sinha’s keynote will give one of many inspiring keynote speeches at the MetricStream GRC Summit 2014. Attendees will also have the opportunity to attend business executive panels on topics such as Internal Audit, Compliance, Ethics, Risk Management, Operational Risk, and Supplier Governance. In addition, they will have the chance to network with CEOs, Board Directors, and Business Executives from Fortune 500 and Global 2000 companies.

At the Summit, leading analysts from Forrester Research, Gartner, and GRC 20/20 Research will discuss the state of the GRC market and where it is headed.
