April 21, 2015 | Palo Alto, California: MetricStream, the market leader in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Cloud Apps, will participate at the Risk Management Association’s (RMA) 9th Annual Governance, Compliance, and Operational Risk (GCOR)Conference to be held from April 22-23, 2015, at the Hyatt Regency in Cambridge, MA. The conference will convene industry practitioners and thought leaders who will share their views on complex operational challenges faced by organizations today, and discuss best practices to effectively manage risk in a mobile, social, global, data-driven world.

The global and dynamic nature of today’s business environment means that organizations are increasingly engaging and partnering with external third parties. As relationships with third parties deepen, organizations must ensure that the associated compliance, reputational, operational, and financial risks are well understood and managed. Designing an integrated and comprehensive third party management program can help organizations consolidate related risk and compliance data in a centralized framework, gain greater visibility into third-party risks and compliance, improve collaboration with third-parties, and minimize costs and redundancies.

The two-day conference features various sessions and panel discussions on diverse topics related to cyber security, key risk indicators (KRIs), third party management, risk models, operational risk management (ORM), and other top of mind issues, challenges, and trends in today’s business environment.

Day 1 of the conference will feature a panel discussion on third party management and best practices to efficiently mitigate third party risks led by Kristen Gantt, Regional Vice President GRC Solutions at MetricStream. Joining Kristen as speakers on this panel include Christopher Thackray, Global Sourcing & Supply Risk Management Quality Assurance Leader, GE Capital; Robin C. Cottingham, EVP & Chief Operational Risk Officer, KeyCorp; and Roland Brooks, Senior Vice President - Risk Shared Services Director, The Huntington National Bank.

Day 2 will feature engaging panel discussions on topics such as ‘Factor Modeling in Operational Risk’ and ‘Benchmarking/Ratios/Triangulation.’ One of the highlights of the day will be a Regulatory Panel featuring John Eckert, Director of Operational Risk Policy, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency; Marco Migueis, Economist-Federal Reserve Board of Governors; Rae-Ann Miller, Assistant Director, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation; and Suzanne Williams, Assistant Director, Federal Reserve Board of Governors.
