    Gunjan Sinha
    Executive Chairman

    Gunjan Sinha is responsible for leading MetricStream’s overall strategy and execution.  Gunjan currently serves on the Board of Directors of several Silicon Valley companies, and was appointed in 2010 to the Board of the US-India Science and Technology Research Endowment Fund by the US State Department to promote entrepreneurship and innovation. Additionally, he is the Chairman of CFHI.org which brings transformative healthcare education to under-served communities. 

    Over the course of his career, Gunjan has spent over 20 years in various entrepreneurial, board, and executive positions building innovative businesses. He was the Co-Founder and President of WhoWhere? Inc., a leading Internet directory services company that was acquired by Lycos in 1998, as well as eGain, an online customer service company which he built from inception to post NASDAQ IPO.

    Gunjan obtained his BS and MS degrees in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, and UC Santa Cruz, respectively. He also holds an MS in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management from Stanford University. Gunjan has been featured as one of the 50 most successful immigrant entrepreneurs in the US by Silicon India.

    Shellye Archambeau is the CEO of MetricStream and under her leadership, MetricStream has grown into a recognized global market leader recognized for growth and innovation.

    Shellye has proven global business expertise combined with a passion for public policy.  She is a member of the board of directors for the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, a nationally recognized organization focused on fostering a cooperative effort between business and government officials to address major public policy issues.

    Shellye was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of Nordstrom, Inc. She also serves on the board of directors of Verizon Communications Inc.

    Shellye has led initiatives and Washington DC delegations to address regulatory compliance issues, and to improve governance. She also pens a column on leadership and entrepreneurship for Xconomy, and is frequently quoted in top tier media publications, including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Compliance Week, and Silicon Valley Business Journal.

    Previously, she served on the Board of Directors and the Audit and Technology committees for Arbitron, Inc., a media research company.  Shellye is a much sought-after speaker who has presented on GRC issues to Fortune 500 corporations, members of Congress, and various associations, including the IIA, ISACA, and NASDAQ.

    In April 2013, Shellye was named the “#2 Most Influential African American in Technology” by Business Insider.

  • Gaurav Kapoor

    Gaurav Kapoor
    Chief Operating Officer

    Gaurav Kapoor is responsible for Sales, Marketing, Customer Advocacy, the Partner Ecosystem, and ComplianceOnline.com. He also serves on the board of Regalix, a digital innovation and marketing company.

    Until 2010, he served as the CFO of MetricStream. During this time, he led the company’s financial strategy as well as Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships. He also launched ComplianceOnline.com, a MetricStream business unit which has grown to become a leading online GRC community and content property.

    Previously, Gaurav held the position of Vice President at OpenGrowth and ArcadiaOne. Prior to that, he spent several years in Marketing, Operations, and Business roles at Citibank in Asia and the U.S.

    Gaurav has a Bachelor's degree in Technology (with Honors) from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), a degree in Business from FMS, Delhi, and an MBA from the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated as a Palmer Scholar.

    Chief Financial Officer

    Jeff Zellmer is responsible for all the Finance and Accounting operations of the company, including planning, analysis, reporting, controls, audit, and treasury activities.

    Jeff’s experience spans global, multi-billion dollar publicly-traded organizations, as well as smaller, high growth firms. He has over 25 years of financial management experience in various Silicon Valley technology companies with a strong track record of building high-performing teams that are tightly integrated with business operations, while ensuring a high level of compliance and control.

     At Silicon Graphics, he rose through the financial ranks and eventually served as their CFO from 2001 to 2006.  Prior to MetricStream, Jeff was the CFO of a private equity owned medical devices company.  He also worked in Unisys, MIPS Technologies (formerly MIPS Computer Systems), Lam Research, and Dental Technologies (DTI).

    Jeff holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from San Diego State University.

    Venky Yerrapotu
    Executive VP of Professional Services & Engineering

    Venky Yerrapotu is responsible for engineering and supporting MetricStream's GRC and Quality Management applications. He is also responsible for MetricStream's solution delivery team.

    Prior to being promoted to this position, Venky served as the Vice President of Quality Services and Vice President of Product Development and Delivery within MetricStream.

    Previously, Venky held senior management positions at Oracle and Apexon. During his career, Venky has been involved with product development, and has also provided consulting services to enterprise customers such as Cisco Systems, Motorola, ADT, GAP, Unocal, and Honeywell.

    Venky has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University, India, and a Master's degree in Industrial and Management Engineering from Montana State University.

  • Vidya Phalke

    Chief Technology Officer

    Vidya Phalke is responsible for MetricStream's technical architecture and strategy. Prior to being promoted to the CTO position, Vidya served as Vice President of Product Management and Engineering at MetricStream where he was responsible for Software Products and Platform Delivery. Starting in 2003, Vidya has been instrumental in transforming the, then nascent, GRC Platform vision into an industry-leading GRC Software.

    Over the course of his career, Vidya has held various Senior Product Management and Engineering positions in Bivio Networks, Narus and Network Programs, building enterprise-grade businesses and operations support systems.

    Before joining the software Industry, Vidya was an Academic at Rutgers University where he won two SBIR grants for cutting-edge research on Databases and Network Optimization. Besides a PhD in Computer Science from Rutgers University, Vidya holds a Management degree from MIT Sloan and a Bachelor’s degree from IIT, Delhi, India.

    One of the foremost thought leaders in IT, French Caldwell has been decisively shaping the GRC market for the last 12 years.

    French is a former Fellow and Vice President at Gartner where he led their GRC research, including the influential Gartner Magic Quadrant on GRC, as well as research into disruptive technology. He also worked with the White House and U.S. Naval War College in 2002 to develop the Digital Pearl Harbor war game, the first ever strategic assessment of cyber war strategies. In 2012, the game took on a very real form with the strategic attacks on oil and gas infrastructure in Saudi Arabia and Qatar. French is also a retired naval officer and a nuclear submariner. Post-retirement, French served as a diplomatic liaison to NATO for the post-Cold War Congressional Commission on Roles and Missions of the Armed Forces.

    As an academic, French served as a Federal Executive Fellow at the Brookings Institution, an Adjunct Fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and an Adjunct Professor and Graduate Research Advisor at the George Washington University School of Engineering Management. He has written a book on international law, and has over 400 published research papers.

    French has a PhD in Law and Policy, an MA in International Economics, Strategy and Diplomacy, and a BS in Oceanography. 

  • Brenda Boultwood

    Senior Vice President of Industry Solutions

    Brenda Boultwood is responsible for a portfolio of key industry verticals, including Energy and Utilities, Federal Agencies, and strategic Banking and Financial Services customers. She also currently serves on the Board of the Committee of Chief Risk Officers (CCRO).

    Brenda has a rich career in Risk Management. Most recently she served as Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer at Constellation Energy. Prior to that, she served as Global Head of Strategy, Alternative Investment Services at J.P. Morgan Chase & Company, where she developed the strategy for the company’s Hedge Fund Services, Private Equity Fund Services, Leveraged Loan Services, and Global Derivative Services. During her tenure at J.P. Morgan Chase, Brenda also served as Global Head of Strategic Risk Management for its Treasury Services Group, and Global Business Head of Global Derivative Services for its Alternative Investment Services Group. 

    At Bank One Corporation, she served as Head, Corporate Market Risk Management and Counterparty Credit, and Head of Corporate Operational Risk Management, before advancing to Head, Global Risk Management for the company’s Global Treasury Services Group.

    Brenda has also worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Chemical Bank Corporation. Additionally, she taught the MBA program at the University of Maryland. Brenda was a member of the CFTC Technology Advisory Committee, and has also served on the Board of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP). 

    Brenda graduated with honors from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations. She also earned a PhD in Economics from the City University of New York City College.

  • Shankar Bhaskaran

    Shankar Bhaskaran is responsible for leading the business strategy and execution for Europe, Middle East and the Asia Pacific markets. At MetricStream, over the last 7 years, Shankar has leveraged the unique India-US business model for outsourced delivery to onsite locations, while setting up the sales and marketing infrastructure, general and administration teams to support scale and delivery.

    Shankar has spent over 15 years in enterprise software and technology, media and new media, and has worked with large corporations such as Time & Fortune, Harvard Business Review, Bennet & Coleman, Living Media, Double-click network, and AltaVista among others, in key marketing, corporate, and brand communication roles. Shankar was also head of business solutions for the Asia Pacific markets with Vista Enterprise Solutions.

    Shankar has a BS in Computer Science from Madras University, Executive Program from the Indian Institute of Management, and has been trained by professional bodies such as NIS, Huthwaite Research, HFI, and Times School.

    Vasant is responsible for product vision and strategy across MetricStream's GRC and Quality product lines. Over his eight years at MetricStream, Vasant has been a thought-leader in shaping the vision for Integrated GRC, and spearheading key strategic initiatives to drive MetricStream's success in the market. 

    In a career spanning over 18 years in technology, Vasant has envisioned, designed, and developed market-leading products. He held senior management positions at Mercury Interactive/HP and InterWeave where he focused on building innovative and intuitive products that customers value.

    Vasant holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from IIT, Roorkee, and a Masters degree in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

  • Anindo Banerjea

    Dr. Anindo Banerjea is responsible for the development of MetricStream’s GRC Platform, the AppStudio toolkit for rapid application development, and MetricStream’s suite of GRC products.

    Prior to MetricStream, Anindo was the CTO at TBD Networks, a company specializing in network technology, virtualization, and data center automation. Previously, Anindo was a Research Professor at the Information Sciences Institute (ISI) at the University of Southern California, and Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Toronto, where he conducted research and taught undergraduate and graduate level courses on networking and information technology.

    He has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.Sc. from IIT, Delhi.

  • Susan Palm

    Vice President of Industry Solutions

    Susan Palm is responsible for driving MetricStream’s growth in specific industries, including Financial Services.

    Susan comes to MetricStream with over 27 years of experience as a practitioner in Governance and Risk Management. Most recently, as the Senior Vice President of Audit and Risk at Sterling Savings Bank, Susan was responsible for Audit, Compliance, Fraud, Credit Review, and Enterprise Risk Management. She has also spent several years in consulting.

    Prior to that, Susan has also spent over two decades at Norwest and Wells Fargo where she served as the Senior Vice President of Enterprise Governance and Risk Management. She was actively engaged with the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve, the OCC, and other regulatory bodies, and has led various National Operational Risk committees, such as the BITS Regulatory Overlap Reconciliation and the Basel ANPR. She is a regular speaker at several forums in GRC.

    Susan received her B.A. in Economics from Lawrence University, and graduated from the Stanford Graduate School of Business’ Executive Program.

  • Thomas Ludwig

    Thomas Ludwig is responsible for representing MetricStream customer interests, as well as production engineering and support. Thomas joined MetricStream through MetricStream's acquisition of TBD Networks/vPanorama, a Silicon Valley based company that built software for GRC and management of virtualized environments and networks.

    As Co-Founder and, later, CEO of TBD Networks, Thomas successfully led the development of the company since inception. He also led deployments in some of the world's largest virtualized environments. Previously, Thomas was a Principal at Boldstep Software, a boutique consulting firm specializing in mega-project management in the financial services industry with responsibility for project volumes over USD $60M.

    Thomas started his career as a Strategy Consultant at McKinsey & Company, working on projects for clients in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, media, manufacturing, and banking industries.

    Thomas holds a B.S and M.S in Computer Science from the University of Technology, Vienna, and a B.A and M.A in Philosophy from the University of Vienna in a joint program with UC Berkeley.

    Mark Mitchell is responsible for developing strategic, corporate, customer, and partner initiatives, as well as mergers and acquisitions.

    Mark brings over 25 years of experience in enterprise software, corporate and business development, and mergers and acquisitions in various Silicon Valley technology companies. He played a key role in building valuable technology businesses in the US and globally, in several C-level roles. He was a co-founder at eMeter, a leading smart-grid company acquired by Siemens AG. He also held key operating executive and corporate and business development leadership roles at Serious Energy, Intematix, Scayl, and Law.com.

    Most recently, Mark was SVP Business Development at RiverMeadow, a leading provider of SaaS solutions for migration of servers into the Cloud. Mark’s experience spans a range of businesses, including Fortune 500 and Global 1000 customers in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. He is also a named inventor on three patents.

    Mark holds a Master’s degree in Business from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, a Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from University of the Pacific.

    As a Vice President of Professional Services, Srdjan is responsible for successful solution delivery with a special focus on shaping the product strategy to meet the needs of internal and external customers and partners.

    Srdjan is a customer-oriented, pragmatic strategist with a proven track record of successfully developing and executing product and technology strategies. He brings over twenty years of experience combining technical and management expertise and passion for users.

    Prior to joining MetricStream, Srdjan was Chief Data and Knowledge Officer at CK-12, an education startup.  His former roles include Chief Architect at Intuit, TurboTax Division; VP Engineering at Baynote, a big data platform and personalization as a service provider; and Chief Process Architect and Chief Technologist at Acusis, a global medical transcription provider. Srdjan has cross-domain experience in software industry, finance, healthcare, telecom, workforce management, and education, in companies ranging from startups to Fortune 500, nationwide and globally.

    Srdjan has been a representative and active participant on several strategic industry forums, standards bodies, and professional organizations and was elected to and served on the Board of Directors of HR-XML Consortium. He has a distinction of being a Fulbright Scholar with a Doctorate in Computer Science, artificial intelligence and human factors, and multiple patents in Internet and search technology.

  • Rohit Bedi

    As the SVP of Partnerships, Rohit is responsible for leading global partnerships by enabling the influence, distribution and delivery capabilities of our partners.

    In a career that spans the full lifecycle of enterprise software, Rohit has been involved with building dominant software brands and successful companies in leadership roles.  Most recently, Rohit led large company partnerships and strategic business in enterprise software at Cognizant. Prior to that, he was part of the executive team at Cymbal where he managed worldwide sales, marketing and partnerships leading to a successful acquisition. In the growing days of Seibel, he was responsible for an entire product line at Siebel Systems including expanding the partner network which played a big role in Siebel’s distribution and delivery channel expansion. He was also in Product marketing roles at PeopleSoft.

    Rohit is very passionate about coaching young juniors and has advised growing entrepreneurial firms in software and services. He has also helped institutions that support talented underprivileged children in golf.  Rohit received his MBA from Harvard University, M.S. from the University of Alabama, and B.E. from Delhi College of Engineering, all with honors.

    Dheeraj Prasad is responsible for Global Human Resources at MetricStream and drives all aspects of the talent management function. He is responsible for business transformation initiatives like culture and productivity and leadership excellence in MetricStream. Dheeraj has over 25 years’ of experience in Talent Management, Education, Business Development and Global Technology Services.  

    Previously, Dheeraj has led transformational start-ups like Andale Inc. in India, and global services teams at Symantec Corp and Microsoft Corp. In his most recent role, he headed the education business segment at Microsoft, India. As an industry leader, he founded the Enterprise Product Support Group under NASSCOM.

    He also chaired a Global Talent Community on Talent Management in India under TSIA (Technology Services Industry Association). Dheeraj has been a Panel Speaker at TieCON Delhi 2011 Education and Skills Panel and at other industry meets and roundtables by NHRD and NASSCOM.
