    Executive Chairman

    Gunjan Sinha is responsible for leading MetricStream’s overall strategy and execution.  Gunjan currently serves on the Board of Directors of several Silicon Valley companies, and was appointed in 2010 to the Board of the US-India Science and Technology Research Endowment Fund by the US State Department to promote entrepreneurship and innovation. Additionally, he is the Chairman of which brings transformative healthcare education to under-served communities. 

    Over the course of his career, Gunjan has spent over 20 years in various entrepreneurial, board, and executive positions building innovative businesses. He was the Co-Founder and President of WhoWhere? Inc., a leading Internet directory services company that was acquired by Lycos in 1998, as well as eGain, an online customer service company which he built from inception to post NASDAQ IPO.

    Gunjan obtained his BS and MS degrees in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, and UC Santa Cruz, respectively. He also holds an MS in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management from Stanford University. Gunjan has been featured as one of the 50 most successful immigrant entrepreneurs in the US by Silicon India.

    Mikael Hagstroem serves as the President and CEO of MetricStream, a global market leader in GRC.

    Mikael brings decades of senior leadership experience in driving value through enterprise software, big data and applied analytics. He has renowned expertise in helping companies across a wide range of industries harness high-performance analytics to reshape their business models, modernize their organizations, and unlock competitive advantage and growth.

    Previously, Mikael served as Partner and COO of McKinsey Analytics, where he helped build a 1,300-employee capability delivering distinct global impact. Prior to McKinsey, Mikael was EVP at SAS Institute, where he led more than 5,000 employees across 48 countries and over 25 years grew a multibillion-dollar software business, contributing to SAS’ leadership in business analytics and risk intelligence.

    Mikael currently serves on the executive committee of the United States Council for International Business. Previously, he served as chair of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Data-Driven Development and the chair of the Executive Council of the American Chamber of Commerce to the European Union.

    Gaurav Kapoor is responsible for Sales, Marketing, Customer Advocacy, the Partner Ecosystem, and He also serves on the board of Regalix, a digital innovation and marketing company.

    Until 2010, he served as the CFO of MetricStream. During this time, he led the company’s financial strategy as well as Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships. He also launched, a MetricStream business unit which has grown to become a leading online GRC community and content property.

    Previously, Gaurav held the position of Vice President at OpenGrowth and ArcadiaOne. Prior to that, he spent several years in Marketing, Operations, and Business roles at Citibank in Asia and the U.S.

    Gaurav has a Bachelor's degree in Technology (with Honors) from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), a degree in Business from FMS, Delhi, and an MBA from the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated as a Palmer Scholar.

    Andy Diggelmann has served at SAS Institute, from 1994-2000 in Switzerland, and from 2000-2018 in Cary, NC, in various roles. In his most recent role, as VP Planning, Operations and Strategy, he had accountability for planning, operations and strategy across all R&D divisions of SAS. He was also officially designated the second in command to the CTO and Head of R&D, wherein his responsibilities included overseeing corporate development and planning; performance testing and data architecture; usability; release engineering and deployment; the R&D Data Center; project management; and the R&D centers in India and China.

    His focus areas have been to continue to mature R&D processes, stabilize infrastructure, take corrective action when needed, and continue to evolve a strategic customer engagement program for R&D.

    In earlier roles, as VP Strategy and Planning, in marketing and R&D, he drove R&D resource allocation across the complete product portfolio. Before that, as Senior Director Strategy, Marketing, he launched the centralized product management function, aligned marketing and product direction globally with a focus on the end-to-end value chain from data access, preparation, analysis and presentation, and established a corporate development and planning function.

    At SAS Institute, Switzerland, he created initiatives around data warehousing and data mining, and helped SAS Institute, Switzerland, grow by establishing Professional Services, and Education as profit centers, and Technical Support and Sales Support as support functions.

    Jessica Zhou brings to MetricStream more than 10 years of General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer experience managing legal, compliance, global expansion and strategic initiatives for fast-growing technology companies and helping them scale.  Before MetricStream, she served as General Counsel of Ayla Networks, a leading Internet-of-Things SaaS platform and Weebly, a global SaaS provider of website creation, e-commerce, integrated marketing and data analytics, which was acquired by Square (NYSE: SQ).  She has also served as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Canadian Solar (Nasdaq: CSIQ), one of the world’s largest solar total solutions providers, and Ubiquiti Networks (Nasdaq: UBNT), a leader in wireless communication devices.  At Canadian Solar, she was a key member of the management team that grew annual revenue from $600 million to over $2 billion, and helped the company expand its global footprint by establishing a number of international subsidiaries and entering more than 35 new markets.  At Ubiquiti Networks, she helped the company navigate through complex IP litigations, double its annual revenue, increase market cap more than 4 times, and managed the company’s secondary stock offering, open-market stock buy-back program, and a special dividend program to drive shareholder value.  

    Earlier in her career, Jessica was a capital markets attorney at Latham & Watkins LLP, a leading global law firm, where her practice focused on IPOs, mergers & acquisitions, venture capital financings, public company SEC reporting, and advising boards of directors on corporate governance matters.

    As Chief Client Officer, Salil Jain is responsible for driving customer-focused engagement and growth. Salil comes to MetricStream with over 25 years of experience in sales strategy, planning, and implementation in companies such as DocuSign, SAP, i2 Technologies, and Booz Allen & Hamilton.

    Salil obtained his B Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, and holds an MBA in Information Systems and Marketing from the University of Texas.

    Vidya Phalke is responsible for MetricStream's technical architecture and strategy. Prior to being promoted to the CTO position, Vidya served as Vice President of Product Management and Engineering at MetricStream where he was responsible for Software Products and Platform Delivery. Starting in 2003, Vidya has been instrumental in transforming the, then nascent, GRC Platform vision into an industry-leading GRC Software.

    Over the course of his career, Vidya has held various Senior Product Management and Engineering positions in Bivio Networks, Narus and Network Programs, building enterprise-grade businesses and operations support systems.

    Before joining the software Industry, Vidya was an Academic at Rutgers University where he won two SBIR grants for cutting-edge research on Databases and Network Optimization. Besides a PhD in Computer Science from Rutgers University, Vidya holds a Management degree from MIT Sloan and a Bachelor’s degree from IIT, Delhi, India

  • Venky Yerrapotu

    Venky Yerrapotu
    Executive Vice President of Professional Services & Engineering

    Venky Yerrapotu is responsible for engineering and supporting MetricStream's GRC and Quality Management applications. He is also responsible for MetricStream's solution delivery team.

    Prior to being promoted to this position, Venky served as the Vice President of Quality Services and Vice President of Product Development and Delivery within MetricStream.

    Previously, Venky held senior management positions at Oracle and Apexon. During his career, Venky has been involved with product development, and has also provided consulting services to enterprise customers such as Cisco Systems, Motorola, ADT, GAP, Unocal, and Honeywell.

    Venky has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University, India, and a Master's degree in Industrial and Management Engineering from Montana State University.

    As EVP of Partnerships, Rohit is responsible for leading global partnerships and MetricStream’s ecosystem by enabling the influence, distribution, and delivery capabilities of our partners. Partnerships and alliances are viewed as key drivers of MetricStream’s growth and leadership in the marketplace.

    In a career that spans the full lifecycle of enterprise software, Rohit has been involved in building dominant software brands and successful companies that include Siebel Systems, PeopleSoft, Cognizant, and Cymbal. Most recently, Rohit led large company partnerships and strategic businesses in enterprise software at Cognizant. Prior to that, he was part of the executive team that built Cymbal, where he managed worldwide sales, marketing, and partnerships leading to a successful acquisition. At Seibel Systems, he was responsible for key product lines, and the expansion of the partner network which played a big role in Siebel’s distribution and delivery channel expansion. He was also in leadership product marketing roles at PeopleSoft during its rise to becoming a top enterprise software provider.

    Rohit enjoys sharing his experience, and advising growing entrepreneurial firms in software and services. He is also passionate about sports, coaching young juniors, and supporting organizations in junior golf. Rohit received his MBA from Harvard University, M.S. from the University of Alabama, and B.E. from Delhi College of Engineering, all with honors.

    As MD and GM of the company’s UK and Ireland operations, Ms. Mazzone will be responsible for strategy and driving the business in the region with a customer-centric approach to growth. Ms. Mazzone comes to MetricStream with  over twenty years of experience in global markets in GRC and the financial services industry at several companies such as BAML, Thomson Reuters, CME Group, Markit, Trunomi, and Aravo.  She serves as a non-executive director for the Open Data Institute, and is a member of the Executive Leadership Council for Upwards, a Silicon Valley professional women’s organization.

    In 2016, Ms. Mazzone was named by Innovate Finance in the ‘Women Fintech Powerlist’.

    Vasant is responsible for product vision and strategy across MetricStream's GRC and Quality product lines. Over his eight years at MetricStream, Vasant has been a thought-leader in shaping the vision for Integrated GRC, and spearheading key strategic initiatives to drive MetricStream's success in the market. 

    In a career spanning over 18 years in technology, Vasant has envisioned, designed, and developed market-leading products. He held senior management positions at Mercury Interactive/HP and InterWeave where he focused on building innovative and intuitive products that customers value.

    Vasant holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from IIT, Roorkee, and a Masters degree in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

    Dr. Anindo Banerjea is responsible for the development of MetricStream’s GRC Platform, the AppStudio toolkit for rapid application development, and MetricStream’s suite of GRC products.

    Prior to MetricStream, Anindo was the CTO at TBD Networks, a company specializing in network technology, virtualization, and data center automation. Previously, Anindo was a Research Professor at the Information Sciences Institute (ISI) at the University of Southern California, and Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Toronto, where he conducted research and taught undergraduate and graduate level courses on networking and information technology.

    He has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.Sc. from IIT, Delhi.

  • Susan Palm

    Susan Palm is responsible for driving MetricStream’s growth in specific industries, including Financial Services.

    Susan comes to MetricStream with over 27 years of experience as a practitioner in Governance and Risk Management. Most recently, as the Senior Vice President of Audit and Risk at Sterling Savings Bank, Susan was responsible for Audit, Compliance, Fraud, Credit Review, and Enterprise Risk Management. She has also spent several years in consulting.

    Prior to that, Susan has also spent over two decades at Norwest and Wells Fargo where she served as the Senior Vice President of Enterprise Governance and Risk Management. She was actively engaged with the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve, the OCC, and other regulatory bodies, and has led various National Operational Risk committees, such as the BITS Regulatory Overlap Reconciliation and the Basel ANPR. She is a regular speaker at several forums in GRC.

    Susan received her B.A. in Economics from Lawrence University, and graduated from the Stanford Graduate School of Business’ Executive Program.

    Brenda Boultwood is responsible for a portfolio of key industry verticals, including Energy and Utilities, Federal Agencies, and strategic Banking and Financial Services customers. She also currently serves on the Board of the Committee of Chief Risk Officers (CCRO).

    Brenda has a rich career in Risk Management. Most recently she served as Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer at Constellation Energy. Prior to that, she served as Global Head of Strategy, Alternative Investment Services at J.P. Morgan Chase & Company, where she developed the strategy for the company’s Hedge Fund Services, Private Equity Fund Services, Leveraged Loan Services, and Global Derivative Services. During her tenure at J.P. Morgan Chase, Brenda also served as Global Head of Strategic Risk Management for its Treasury Services Group, and Global Business Head of Global Derivative Services for its Alternative Investment Services Group. 

    At Bank One Corporation, she served as Head, Corporate Market Risk Management and Counterparty Credit, and Head of Corporate Operational Risk Management, before advancing to Head, Global Risk Management for the company’s Global Treasury Services Group.

    Brenda has also worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Chemical Bank Corporation. Additionally, she taught the MBA program at the University of Maryland. Brenda was a member of the CFTC Technology Advisory Committee, and has also served on the Board of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP). 

    Brenda graduated with honors from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations. She also earned a PhD in Economics from the City University of New York City College.

    Thomas Ludwig is responsible for representing MetricStream customer interests, as well as production engineering and support. Thomas joined MetricStream through MetricStream's acquisition of TBD Networks/vPanorama, a Silicon Valley based company that built software for GRC and management of virtualized environments and networks.

    As Co-Founder and, later, CEO of TBD Networks, Thomas successfully led the development of the company since inception. He also led deployments in some of the world's largest virtualized environments. Previously, Thomas was a Principal at Boldstep Software, a boutique consulting firm specializing in mega-project management in the financial services industry with responsibility for project volumes over USD $60M.

    Thomas started his career as a Strategy Consultant at McKinsey & Company, working on projects for clients in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, media, manufacturing, and banking industries.

    Thomas holds a B.S and M.S in Computer Science from the University of Technology, Vienna, and a B.A and M.A in Philosophy from the University of Vienna in a joint program with UC Berkeley.

    Shankar Bhaskaran is responsible for leading the business strategy and execution for Europe, Middle East and the Asia Pacific markets. At MetricStream, over the last 7 years, Shankar has leveraged the unique India-US business model for outsourced delivery to onsite locations, while setting up the sales and marketing infrastructure, general and administration teams to support scale and delivery.

    Shankar has spent over 15 years in enterprise software and technology, media and new media, and has worked with large corporations such as Time & Fortune, Harvard Business Review, Bennet & Coleman, Living Media, Double-click network, and AltaVista among others, in key marketing, corporate, and brand communication roles. Shankar was also head of business solutions for the Asia Pacific markets with Vista Enterprise Solutions.

    Shankar has a BS in Computer Science from Madras University, Executive Program from the Indian Institute of Management, and has been trained by professional bodies such as NIS, Huthwaite Research, HFI, and Times School.
